Standing as striking testimony to the strong religious convictions held by the
townsfolk of Roebling are the large and modern church buildings which serve several of the congregations listed above.
The clergy and lay leaders of the various church groups constitute a force for strong morality and civic decency in the community.
These men and women have done much toward strengthening and cementing the fine community relationships
existing in the town. They have also been guiding influences in forming recreational programs for Roebling youth and as a result of their efforts juvenile delinquency is
almost a non-existent problem. In addition to the influence exerted by the Sunday pulpit, the various men's and women's clubs and organizations operating under the sponsorship of the churches of Roebling, play important roles in charity drives and other
worth-while enterprises.
