THE family circle is an important factor in Roebling life. Family ties are strong and the majority of Roebling residents are homeowners who take great pride in the appearance of their properties both inside and out. As a result, the residential area of the town is made up of well kept, attractive dwellings. Excellent educational facilities for the children of the town have always been available since its founding by Charles G. Roebling. Dr. Jerre F. Moreland, Supervising principal, Florence township schools (Roebling is a governmental unit of Florence Township) has the following to say regarding the future of education in the community;

"Roebling's educational future is very bright. The community now operates one of the largest and best equipped elementary schools in New Jersey. Plans are being made for a new modern high school to be located next to the new athletic field overlooking the Delaware River. The new school, we feel, will become the heart of the center of a new and larger community bringing Roebling, Florence and Florence Station into a single compact, busy group of homes and places of business."
